In the Spring of 2013, I joined two classmates to develop a mobile use strategy for a global nonprofit healthcare analytics organization. This exciting project allowed me to work with some fantastic people! I also discovered that mobile technology has come a long way in the last few years, but it is still the case that conforming to general best practices for the web frequently results in optimal setup to hit the ground running on mobile.
Though not the most experienced in mobile technology, I stepped into a leadership role in managing this project: scheduling our meetings, setting project deadlines, and keeping track of project requirements. I also did the graphic design for the mobile app wireframes and the final editing of the project papers. In addition to the 7-page strategy included here, my team provided the client with a supplemental resource containing our detailed research and analysis.
